The Story
While microwaving a CD that was wrapped in 8 and a half inch thick ball of tinfoil( DO NOT attempt at home), JJ a his best friend, poe, were taken via wormhole into another dimension, but got kicked out and came back into this dimension via ANOTHER wormhole and straight into a Sprite video game called, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE SOMEWHAT NEAR FUTURE. They landed in a thick brush, right outside the pedastal where the legendary blade, the master sword, was placed in order to seal the evil Ganondorf inside. Being as big a fan of the zelda series as JJ was, he could not help himself and decided to steal the master sword from its pedastal. Soon after he pulled/stole the blade from the pedastal, Ganondorf emerged, to wreak havoc and just plain be an ass. Now, JJ and Poe must undo their (JJs) deed, and seal the evil back from whence it came...
Creation of this comic
That's right, there is actually a reason I'm doing this comic as well as my hand drawn comic, anime south. I've worked with sprites a bit before, make humorous movies, mostly zelda ones, out of custom sprites. Normally I would use windows movie maker, but this became troublesome after a while, due to the fact that windows movie maker sucks large amounts of gratuotous ass (sorry for any fans of it out there, but seriously, it does). So, after reading countless online comics, such as "the after subtract" and "shy guy comic" I decided, hey, why not. And thus, ASSA (Anime South presents: Sprite Adventures) was born. Honestly, I really like doing this one (thus the three day a week update schedule, instead of twice a week like the original AS). So, without furthur delay, go, and read the archive, I hope you enjoy reading ASSA as much as I enjoy making it.
